Oakden Rise’s arrival in Adelaide continues to draw attention for the community, open space and affordability benchmarks Villawood Properties is setting in South Australia.
Purchasers are voting with their feet, our Sales Centre is a busy hub of activity fielding inquiries, as the premium offerings of Oakden Rise take traction in the market and community.
Port Adelaide Enfield City recently welcomed this new property spotlight when Villawood detailed the attributes of Oakden, Club Oakden Rise and other amenities to its councillors and officers.
Cr Matt Osborn took on board the multi-faceted nature of Oakden Rise that’s on offer:
“ … pool, children’s splash deck, parents‘ lounge, event space, gymnasium and a café. Tonight we saw an updated concept for ‘Oakden Village’ which in addition to Club Oakden Rise now includes a potential child care centre, a grocery store and a medical/wellness centre.
“The current price points for the diversity of housing options range from $400K to $694K. This reflects different housing design and residential block sizes that range from around 100sqm to 450sqm.
“Villawood have committed to an open space provision of 20% and a tree canopy target of 30%. Thius will be a 10-year project so I’m pleased that Villawood continue to engage so closely and frequently with staff and elected councillors.”
Oakden Rise is a 1500-lot 52-hectare development in partnership with Renewal SA which unlocks one of the last large-scale infill development opportunities in metropolitan Adelaide.
This new master-planned community is an economic powerhouse as well, providing an average 320 FTE jobs annually during construction, reaching up to 400 FTE jobs in 2024-25.
It is delivering a very special breed of community, one that South Australia hasn’t seen before.
Not only are its expertly designed and integrated parks, playgrounds, open space and neighbourhood precincts with loads of housing options providing a new standard of development, so too is its terrific public art, commissioned from sculptor Folko Kooper, to help provide a real sense of place and nature.
Oakden Rise is all about bringing people together to make new friends, hopefully life-long friends, in a place which is vibrant, interesting and first-rate for raising a family.
It’s bringing a new breed of holistic residential housing to South Australia. That’s not just a buzz-phrase – it’s a very real change to the homebuyer market.
